This summer, the five-star Morrison Hotel invites guests to experience a new kind of indulgence with the launch of The Morrison Ah-fternoon Tea featuring Ah, Wines a limited-edition collaboration with beloved Irish actress and writer, Amy Huberman and her newly launched Ah, Cava Brut Rosé.
Available from 30th May to 31st August, this special seasonal experience pairs The Morrison’s renowned afternoon tea with Amy’s lively and elegant sparkling rosé, offering a playful way to toast the summer!
The Morrison Ah-fternoon Tea is available for €49 per person with a glass of Ah, Cava Brut Rosé , or €42 per person with tea or coffee. Guests can also choose to pair their afternoon tea with an Ah, Strawberry Spritz Cocktail for €54 per person, a refreshing creation inspired by Amy Huberman’s signature sparkling wine.
Choose from an array of carefully curated selection of savoury bites, celebrating the best of Irish ingredients. Delicacies include Wrights’ smoked salmon with crème fraiche and pickled cucumber on rich Guinness bread, alongside Manor Farm free-range roasted chicken paired with rocket, basil pesto and tomato on sourdough. A vegetarian delight comes in the form of St Tola goats cheese and sweet potato falafel, finished with apricot marmalade in a fluffy brioche bun. Rounding out the savouries is O’Neill’s off-the-bone ham, served with a celeriac and mustard slaw on Bretzel’s granary bread.
To follow, guests will indulge their sweet tooth with an elegant array of desserts. Highlights include an Ard Cairn Russet Apple and gin mousse, a decadent dark chocolate nemesis, and a light, fruity strawberry and raspberry torte. A classic opéra gâteau offers rich coffee and almond notes, while a selection of mini macarons adds a delicate finish to this indulgent experience.
