The Morrison Hotel reopened officially on Monday 29th June. We are so delighted to be able to welcome back our guests and friends to the hotel after so many weeks closed.

The team have been working very hard to prepare the hotel in accordance with the Government Guidelines and  Hilton’s own guidance, while keeping The Morrison’s ambiance and magic of old as much as we could. We feel we have reached a good balance with as soft and as subtle approach as possible. Please see below some of the protocols we have put in place. Be rest assured that if you staycation at the Morrison, your health & safety is of the upmost importance to us. 

The safely of our guests and staff are of the utmost important to us and as part of the Hilton Family we have implemented the industry leading Hilton CleanStay Program, which will give you even more confidence in choosing the Morrison Hotel for your stay in Dublin.

Our cleaning products have been augmented with additional products to further complement our already high standards and to comply with Hilton’s CleanStay strict protocols.

Perspex glass has been installed at Reception and Guest Relations so that we can continue providing a great service while following the health and safety guidelines.

Through Hilton Honors and the Hilton Honors App we offer a digital check-in option to minimise interaction at reception if a guest prefers, along with digital check out also.

We are pleased to confirm that all employees at The Morrison, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel have now completed Fáilte Ireland’s Infection Prevention Control for Tourism Businesses course, COVID19 Safety Charter.

Our team are completing extra cleaning and disinfection of all areas of the Lobby, Bar and Restaurants to ensure your comfort and safety.

All our team have been trained in our new operating procedures and in most cases have been involved first hand in the changes made.

All members have their temperature taken upon arrival to the hotel and recorded.

There are automatic no-touch Hand Sanitisers throughout the hotel using 70% alcohol sanitiser.

Social Distancing is implemented throughout the public areas as per the Government guidelines.

All hotel information has been digitised, being now available through QR codes.

Our bedrooms will be sanitised further once cleaned, using Dettol products and then sealed for your exclusive access upon arrival.

‘Ozone’ sanitisation is available upon request for any guest who may prefer even better peace of mind.

The Hilton CleanStay program highlights 10 high touch points in the bedrooms to reassure guests, further details on this can be found in the link below. All crockery and glassware in the bedrooms will be sanitised along with all touch points such as door and drawer handles, light switches etc.

To ensure that you remain as undisturbed as possible, we will only provide daily housekeeping service on request, this can be arranged through the Front Desk as required.

Breakfast will be served to the tables instead of a buffet – a full a la carte menu has been implemented with all the preferred items still available.

Menus for both the breakfast restaurant HALO and the main restaurant/bar, Morrison Grill/Quay 14 are available through QR codes using your device if you wish – soft laminate menus which can be sanitised are still available for guests who prefer this.

We also have special cutlery pouches to store all the cutlery.

All condiments are now individual portions to reduce the capacity for guests to share such items.

Due to Covid-19, we are all having to change how we used to do things.  Here at the Morrison Hotel, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, we have plenty of options available to you for your meeting or event all while adhering to the protocols set out by the Irish Government. 

Our largest meeting room Printworks is the ideal room for your next conference or meeting – measuring 250 meters squared, with floor to ceiling windows, it allows natural day light and fresh-air throughout the room.  The adjoining Court Yard garden can be used for coffee breaks or lunch to ensure everyone is making the most of our outdoor space even on a rainy day with our fully retractable canopy.

Attached are our room capacities across 3 Social distancing guidelines as you might prefer with Printworks set out either as 1 room or split into 2 as you required depending on your meeting set up requirements.

All meeting rooms are fitted with complimentary Dual band, 900Mb complimentary WIFI as well as use of our screen and projector included within our room hire rates.
