A week in Dublin squeezed into a day

For Breakfast
Halo at the Morrison: The Buffet to end all Breakfast Buffets, from setting to choice complemented by service – this will have you coming back for more, and some more and then some more..........
Queen of Tarts: Devoured by Dubliners and envied by Tourists this slice of home baking heaven run by twin sisters has never been short of bums and full tums on seats. They cater from the most adventurous to the most selective and they all leave wanting to know their secret!
For Chic Secret Shopping Surprise: Don’t get trapped by the designer labels or boxed in by The High Street Brigade – hidden among Temple Bars lanes and Drury/Castle Market Sector one will find vintage and second hand retro stores with everything from clothing to textiles. Try out Siopaella or Costume, Harlequins and Jenny Vander’s to find a unique piece that shows off your own individual personality. Set the trends, don’t follow them.

For Lunch
Afternoon Tea @ Quay 14: Try the new Fancy Pants Afternoon Tea at the bar with a glass of bubbles. No better way to sit back and people watch along the quays of The Liffey.
Crackbird/Skinflint or Jo Burger: The Triplets of the same owner these pop up restaurants in various nooks and crannies of Dublin side streets offer something different, fresh and funky affordable. Cornucopia – On the city scene since the 1980s this little gem is ever changing and over the decades Dubliners and Visitors alike cannot get enough of this vegetarian oasis that meat-eaters substitute to get their fill.

For Brains
National Library, National Museum & National Gallery: The 3 Nationals are situated in a triangle around Nassau & Kildare Street & Merrion Square they throw up the history of Ireland in 3 very different engaging ways, from tracing family history (we all know everyone’s got a bit of Irish in them somewhere along the line) at The Library, to the grotesque yet captivating Bog Bodies at the museum (keep telling yourself they’re just antique Louis Vuitton Handbags with arms and legs attached) to the hidden treasures of the Irish Art Collection – from the famous Caravaggio to Jack Yeats sketch books

Dinner & Post Dinner Watering Holes
The Morrison Grill, our top BBQ restaurant in Dublin, is not exclusive to steaks. The one of its kind Josper Grill will turn vegetables and fish into a culinary explosion of tantalizing tastes and flavors in one of Dublin’s trendiest and cosmopolitan surroundings. There are many bars in Dublin, but Quay 14 serves the trendiest cocktails and offers craft beers and an extensive whiskey selection that have secured an award-winning status.

Odessa:This funky retro dining experience with a floor for all seasons has been on the go fro some years, but their stylised approach to décor and menu suggestions keep this vintage accessory well in season. And afterwards wash it down with a pint at The Stags Head across the road, like a real Dub.

For Culture
Dublin Theater Festival: Dublin’s Annual Festival just like a Wedding Extravaganza – here you’ll find some old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! Dublin Literary pub Crawl:what better way to learn quotes and facts and figures of Dublin’s Literary Geniuses than from pub to pub regaling their trial and triumphs and local watering hole. The leprechaun museum: for the Dorothy in all of us who believes there's more at the end of the rainbow than The Land of Oz - see Irish myths and legend told in a funny humorous way.

Whatever you do while visiting Dublin; a stop by our guest relations team here at the Morrison is a must. Whether you are looking for fine dining options such as Chapter 1 or day trips for the more culture curious traveller, our team are a wealth of knowledge.

The Morrison’s guest relations team will ensure that you “Come as a guest & leave as a local”, having experienced the real Dublin.
