The freshly restyled Halo room, complete with its eye-catching Birdman sculpture, is open for full Irish buffet breakfasts each morning. It also
doubles up as a private event space for dinners of up to 80 people or stand up cocktail event up to 120 people. Halo features high ceilings that
rise to the second floor, an imposing art piece by Clea Van Der Grijn and oversized mirrors alongside a mix of both modern & antique tables. This
space is the perfect marriage of the old & the new while still leaving you with a contemporary blank canvas to make it your own. Cream walls
& light wooden floors means this space can easily be transformed to a space for private dinners, special occasions or corporate events.
With its neutral colours, Halo can also be themed or branded for a product launch. This somewhat unusual facility means Halo has its own ready-made
larger than life cinema screen complete with HD projector. The previous large design wall has been adapted professionally to now facilitate guests
wishing to project presentations, slideshows or even live sporting events directly to attendees.

Building World Update (Dublin 18.01.2013)
Things are progressing very well since we closed our doors on 18th November & we are on track to reopen the hotel on 1stFebruary 2013.
As part of our exciting plans we are delighted to announce our franchise partnership with Hilton which will see the newly refurbished Morrison Hotel reopen as The Morrison, a DoubleTree by Hilton - the first DoubleTree hotel to open in Ireland. Reopening February 2013 (Dublin 10.12.2012)
12 weeks in which to fully refurbish 138 rooms, build an entirely new bar and destination restaurant and remodel all public areas and winter is on the way! It is most definitely an ambitious €7ml programme which we are happy to report is progressing to date on time.
There is of course still a lot to do to ensure we are re-opening our doors the first week of February 2013. We will over the coming weeks keep you updated via our website and Facebook and look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to welcome you to The Morrison in 2013.
