The Morrison Dublin, a DoubleTree by Hilton, Reopens Following €7 Million Refurbishment
Ireland’s first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel opened its doors today, bringing one of Europe’s fastest growing upscale hotel brands to the Emerald Isle. A thoughtful and contemporary renovation of the Morrison hotel, in partnership with operators Martinez Hotels & Resorts, has seen the property’s 138 rooms and suites completely re-designed with a brand new concept centred on music and sound.

Building World Update (Dublin 18.01.2013)
Things are progressing very well since we closed our doors on 18th November & we are on track to reopen the hotel on 1stFebruary 2013.
As part of our exciting plans we are delighted to announce our franchise partnership with Hilton which will see the newly refurbished Morrison Hotel reopen as The Morrison, a DoubleTree by Hilton - the first DoubleTree hotel to open in Ireland. The Morrison will now have all of the advantages associated around this truly global & well established brand while remaining true to its individual & design led ethos.

Reopening February 2013 (Dublin 10.12.2012)
12 weeks in which to fully refurbish 138 rooms, build an entirely new bar and destination restaurant and remodel all public areas and winter is on the way! It is most definitely an ambitious €7ml programme which we are happy to report is progressing to date on time.
There is of course still a lot to do to ensure we are re-opening our doors the first week of February 2013. We will over the coming weeks keep you updated via our website and Facebook and look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to welcome you to The Morrison in 2013.
